Spa Manager Diploma

Objectives
The Spa Manager Diploma program teaches students the essential business and management skills required to face today’s fast-paced
salon or spa environment, with a focus on understanding the day-to-day operations.
In addition, students learn how to
develop the leadership, team building, coaching/mentoring, and strategic planning and decision-making skills critical
to success in the spa business.
Students will gain a thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, effective sales and
marketing techniques and software applications including Milano Software, QuickBooks, Word and Excel.
Prerequisites
- Grade 12 or equivalent OR Mature student status (19 years plus)
- Passing score on the entrance examination
- Personal interview to determine suitability for the program
Graduation Requirements
To graduate and receive a diploma, a student must obtain an overall average of 70% with no grade less than 60% in any subject.
In addition, students must:
- Submit proof of current CPR Certificate (facilitated on site)
- Achieve a satisfactory rating in each of the required abilities in the Co-op evaluation
- Complete the minimum Co-op placement.
